Bridgewater, NJ – April 20, 2015 – Starfish Associates today announced it has received certification of its integration with ServiceNow. Certification by ServiceNow signifies that Starfish Provisioning Solution has successfully completed a set of defined tests focused on integration interoperability, security and performance. The certification also ensures best practices are utilized in the design and implementation of Starfish Provisioning Solution’s integration with ServiceNow.
Starfish Provisioning Solution automates and streamlines on-boarding and off-boarding of telecom resources such as phones and voicemail boxes for users and contact center agents. By integrating with ServiceNow, telecom resources are automatically provisioned and managed for multi-vendor platforms including Avaya, Cisco and Microsoft. Powered by an intelligent provisioning and synchronization engine, provisioning transactions are triggered by events or notifications from the IT application of choice (Active Directory, Human Resources Systems, Identity Management Systems and IT Service Management Systems). Starfish Provisioning Solution automatically reacts to requests created within ServiceNow, automatically provisioning and de-provisioning the required telecom resources and updating request status along the way.
“Large enterprises with many locations are faced with unique telecom challenges” said Robert Hankin, Starfish Partner and Co-Founder. “For most, automating the provisioning of telecom resources is being embraced as a way to respond to constant change, drive operational efficiencies and reduce expenses. The most valuable benefit of our integration with ServiceNow is that customers can now streamline the management of their telecom operation just like any other IT application or platform in the enterprise.”
